Steps to Take After an Uber Accident

I have recently started using Uber quite frequently. I am aware that there has been a substantial increase in Uber accidents since it was introduced. As an alert passenger, I would like to know what I can do in the event of an accident.

·         Document the accident with the police. If you do not call the police and document the accident when it happened, you might later have a hard time proving the accident.
·         See a doctor right away, because your health is most important. The sooner you seek medical treatment, the better you will be able to deal with any health issue that may arise later. Also, medical documentation of your injuries will help in pursuing a damage claim.
·         Document the facts of the accident as much as possible, such as by taking photos of the accident scene and collecting pertinent information from all parties involved, including witnesses to the accident.
·         Hire an experienced attorney who has successfully handled Uber accident cases.
