nursing home facility since I am unable to provide her round-the-clock care.
However, I still can’t arrive at a final decision on the matter because a friend
tells me that many kinds abuse take place in nursing homes. What are these?
The different types of nursing home abuse include:
- Physical abuse
- Sexual abuse
- Emotional abuse
- Financial abuse

DeleteMy mom passed away recently. We’ve come to know that she had a bedsore on her back that was approx 10-12 inches in diameter. Though this must have been extremely painful and uncomfortable, she was not in a mental condition to be able to complain. I want to know whether the nursing home can be held responsible, and if we can file a lawsuit?
ReplyDeleteA bedsore is a painful lesion that forms on parts of the body when it remains pressed against a surface, such as a bed or a wheel chair, for a period of time. When a patient enters a nursing home or a healthcare facility without any evidence of skin breakdown, but later develops a bedsore, their loved ones can seek compensation for the injury and harm caused by the bedsore. Our bedsore lawyers are experienced in handling nursing home abuse cases and will assist you in the investigation and settlement of your case.

My mother-in-law stays in a nursing home. When I visited her one day, I noticed some itches on her hands. I checked her surroundings and found that the nursing staff had failed to clean up after she had vomited some time ago. Can I take legal action against the nursing home?
ReplyDelete"Nursing homes have a legal responsibility to provide a sufficient level of care to their residents. When a loved one suffers neglect or abuse as a result of their care, family members have a right to pursue legal action.
